About the album — Named after a line from the two-disc live album’s opening song, this is the first true live release by the Decemberists, who have been in this game nearly a decade.

I was anticipating this moment ever since I saw them live in Atlantic City last summer. I was already a big fan of the band before that show. But that night was the night I fell in love with one of the most incredible indie folk bands I have ever heard.

This album is a mix of their classics as well as laced with stuff off their 2011 album, “The King Is Dead.”

The classics are headlined with “The Crane Wife 1, 2 & 3,” Mariner’s Revenge Song” and “Billy Liar.” To be honest, every single one of the songs on this live album is a classic.

If you really want a taste of what the Decemberists are like live or in general, check this album out. If you like true honest music, you will love this live album as well as this band.
